We take our responsibility to protect the privacy and confidentiality of customer information very seriously. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal and state standards to store and secure information about you from unauthorized access, alteration and destruction. Our control policies, for example, authorize access to customer information only by individual who need access to do their work to better service our customer’s needs.
From time to time, we enter into agreements with other companies to provide services to you, such as data processing and ATM services, or to make other services available to you. Under these agreements, the companies may receive information about you but they must safeguard this information and they may not use it for any other purpose.
We are required to provide our Privacy Policy to our existing customer on an annual basis. We also provide the policy to new account customers. If we change our privacy policy, all existing customers will be notified. This policy applies to current customers of the City State Bank, Fort Scott, Kansas.
The City State Bank receives certain Non-Public information about you from various sources including information from:
- Information we receive from you on application or other forms.
- Information about your transactions with us.
- Information about your transactions with nonaffiliated third parties.
- Consumer reporting agencies, (credit bureaus) such as your credit history.
WE DO NOT DISCLOSE ANY NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT CURRENT OR PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS TO ANYONE, EXCEPT AS PERMITTED BY LAW.
