Held at Ellis Park - parking available in Middle School parking lot (Northeast of Ellis Park). Activities and Live Entertainment will start at 8:00 am and continue until 9:00 pm. Bring your own LAWN CHAIR!

34th Annual Burke Street Parade, 10am, Meet at 10th & Burke, refreshments after parade, Phil Hammons and Jill will start with patriotic songs. Cookie donations welcome, preferably the day before. Torrential rains and lightening cancels the event. The public is welcome to attend.

Chamber sponsored Concerts in the Park, each Friday evening May thru Sept., 7pm, will be held in the Riverfront Park on N. National as part of the Riverfront Music Festival!

7th Annual Riverfront Festival! Will be held on N. National at the Riverfront Park! The event will include an old-fashioned HOT DOG ROAST and is open to the public. Hot dogs will be prepared over an open campfire assisted by the Boy Scouts. There will also be baked beans and lots of desserts. There will be a musical concert by the Cow Creek Band with Jason Richison, Kenley Rice, Jake “Jukebox” Johnson, Dan Duling & Rick Duling. In addition, 2 Girls & A Zoo will have animals for the children to see and pet. There will also be a Bounce House! Mountain Bike Race in the 2nd Annual, Marmaton Massacre. This is a mountain bike race sanctioned by the United Federation of Dirt (UFD), a racing series that covers Kansas and Missouri.
